Come out to watch some great golf entertainment!

TSU Golf TeamTexas State University, J.L.’s alma mater, will host the first J.L. Lewis Intercollegiate Golf Tournament!  The tournament starts Monday, February 22, 2010 and has a second round on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. The host course is The Bandit Golf Club in New Braunfels, Texas.

Some of the best collegiate players in the country will be at this event!  The competing schools in this event are Texas State University, UT-Arlington, Rice, Central Arkansas, Sam Houston, North Texas, Stephen F. Austin, Houston, UT-San Antonio, Oral Roberts, and Houston Baptist.  Some notables to watch for are Jeff Gerlich from TSU who is an NCAA regional participant from 2009,  and UT- Arlington and Rice, who are ranked top 40 in the country!

TSU won the Oral Robertson Intercollegiate earlier this season and are hoping that the home course advantage at the J.L. Lewis Intercollegiate will pay off. All the players on the TSU golf team are wonderful young men and great golfers and work hard on and off the golf course during the school year.  This will be a very entertaining golf tournament to watch!  Come out to see some great college golf and show your support!
